The new Swarovski store in The Core has a polished look with lighting details designed to highlight their beautifully crafted crystal jewelry. The most prominent lighting detail is an elegant, custom-made Swarovski chandelier; other elements include integrated millwork lighting, a grid of multi-directional LED pot lights, and a unique backlit wall display showcasing the Swarovski swan.

For equivalent brightness, LED lighting uses about half of the energy as fluorescent lighting, and about one quarter of the energy as incandescent lighting.  Additionally, LED lights have an average lifespan of about 50,000 hours; they typically last at least 10 years with regular use.  As a result, both energy and maintenance costs are reduced significantly by replacing existing lights with new LED equivalents.
